Dr. Weisman is board certified in Addiction Medicine and truly believes there are many roads to recovery. Weisman Medical Services practice provides prescriptions for medications to treat and support recovery including Buprenorphine (Brixadi) injections, Naltrexone (Vivitrol) injection and other innovative evidence based practices. They practice with other professionals for peer recovery services, therapy and group therapy as well as community resources like The Phoenix.

Because there are many ways to recover, this practice provides naloxone (Narcan), condoms, a needle exchange program and education of safer injection for those individuals this pertains to. This also included regular screening for Sexually Transmitted Infections, HIV and the different types of Hepatitis.

Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean that chronic pain and/or fibromyalgia isn’t there. Weisman Medical Services provides a holistic approach to pain as well as support through the difficult flares.

Dr. Weisman is an osteopathic physician and chose to be a DO because of the integrated way osteopathic doctors look at the mind, body and spirit. She does osteopathic manipulation treatments (OMT or OMM), acupunture and other modalities to promote healing and wellness.

A small minority of Weisman Medical Services practice is dedicated to serving patients who have been with Dr. Weisman through the years. From coughs and colds to diabetes and hypertension, Dr. Weisman has you cover. This also includes preventative services like yearly wellness visits, discussing preventative care measures that fit you, and referrals for preventative care screening like pap smears, ordering mammograms, Cologuard, colonscopies, low dose CT scans for lung cancer, PSA for prostate health, and more.
